The power of introverts

The power of introverts blog post by iHanna with image Making dotted paper mixed media stuff

I’m making dotted papers, and thinking that the weekly inspiration link lists are monthly… the last one was published in January. But of course the postcard link list is still growing, so that’s keeping me busy.

But anyway, had to share these links with you. I hope you like ’em!

Link list: The power of introverts

  • Ted talk with Susan Cain: The power of introverts
Our world prizes extroverts — but Susan Cain makes a case for the quiet and contemplative (like me) and I just love that. Watch/listen to her talk, this is important! Way back I wrote about introversion and creativity in my own life.
  • A little flat flickr set – with photos by Laura Cameron, who writes “I’m renting, it’s nothing fancy, but it does have lots of lovely natural light. It’s my favourite place to be“. Her style is much more minimalistic than mine, but I love the light in her apartment photos.
  • Femiknitter a Cast-on podcast – I don’t knit much these days but I still listen to Brenda’s podcast because it makes me feel comfortable and “at home”. This show is a must listen for anyone pro girl power! Funny + important at the same time.
  • Washi watch: The tape of things to come – washi tape is masking tape with colour/pattern, and there are so many fun things to do with it… Check the photos in the post at felt & wire out. Yum!

Also: There is always new cool links in my Inspiration List, check it out.

  1. Well worth the wait. In the years I have been following your blog, I have seen you grow as an artist and writer! I remember the arrival of Smilla, early mixed media projects and photos of Mom’s cement leaf bird bath. You inspire me to be better, IHanna, lol! :)

  2. Jag lär mej så många nya tekniker av dej, vad spännande med det där pappret! och alltid lika kul att läsa dina inspirationsinlägg :)

  3. I also watched the TED talk by Susan Cain: The power of introverts – and LOVED it. I really can relate and think that she’s helping to bring a positive look at introverts!
