If people did not love one another, I really don’t see what use there would be in having any spring.Victor Hugo Dear Photo Diary, sorry it’s been a while. I haven’t taken a lot of photos with my big camera lately. Life is at a stand still, not just for me, but for much of […]

Taking photos is a big part of a creative life, as it can be used both as documenting, finding inspiration, memory keeping and an art form within itself.
Photography has been a constant in my life for a long, long time. I love to document what I see and feel, how I look and what I create. I also enjoy sharing my photography efforts here on my blog, and via the photo site Flickr and Instagram.
My camera is a Nikon d5200. I also use an Ixus & my smart phone (android at the moment).
A way where before there were non

Dear Photo Diary | a winter without colors
I believe in process. I believe in four seasons. I believe that winter’s tough, but spring’s coming. I believe that there’s a growing season. And I think that you realize that in life, you grow. You get better. Steve Southerland Dear Photo Diary, I am sorry that I have ignored you for so long. It […]
My First Art Vlog: Yayoi Kusama in Stockholm
In this blog post you will find my very first video log (vlog), lots of polka dot art, some journaling and lots of polka dotted lamps in different colors (swoon!). But first a little bit about the artist Yayoi Kusama… Yayoi Kusama and her polka dots Yayoi Kusama is a internationally well-known and very much […]
Dear Photo Diary | Summer Reading & Groot
When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it. Henry Ford Dear Photo Diary I am not taking as many photos with my big girl camera anymore, because of phone. It feels sad looking back, so sometimes I pull myself together and take some […]
Dear Photo Diary | Newness in the air
The month of May has been divided into two very intense parts: beautiful weather that draws me outdoors, away from the computer and blogging, and heavy computer work time that also has drawn me away from social media and writing blog posts. But today I (almost) finished one of my articles, and while the sun […]
Dear Photo Diary | Pink Polka Dots
Since I’m still not one hundred percent well after the flu, I haven’t made any new collages and feel way behind. I think I’m the only one not posting to the hashtag #365somethings2018 on Instagram, and I invented the thing! Gah! But I digress. I’m trying to go through older photos on the computer, and […]
A Box of Papers and autumn in Sweden
It’s autumn in Sweden. Well actually, today we are going into Winter Time, setting our clocks back an hour to get more lights in the mornings… But where I am we haven’t had any snow yet, so I’m enjoying the autumn still, as best I can. I do not like how early it gets dark […]
Summer is my favorite season
I haven’t been blogging much lately, and I’d like to (at least partly) blame the Swedish Summer for that… I love that Sweden has four glorious and specific seasons. I love all these different seasons, because they signify change and movement. But I must say I think that Swedish Summer is my favorite season. And […]
The Beauty of Withered tulips
I still think that withered tulips are beautiful. They are more fragile than before. Their colors muted, their petals wrinkled – and then they become almost transparent. Don’t get me wrong, I love them when they are cute as buds, and all the way to full bloom too. But I don’t think their beauty ends […]
Blue and Yellow
The gold you have to dig for is not the real gold. Marty Rubin This year most fall days have been horribly gray, with heavy clouds covering the sky. But then when the sun did peek out, I hurried out for a walk and took a few photos of my favorite fall tree, and some […]
Eye Candy | Flower Power
I believe in flower power – the power of nature in garden form. There is so much beauty outdoors right now that I find it hard to sit down by the computer to write a blog post or two, even though I as usual have a lot I really want to communicate and share with […]
