Hello me.
I return to my journal, and my favorite colors. The thing that comes out, as so often, is a self portrait. Another one, another aspect of me, another image of the whole.
I find comfort in my worn paint brushes and paint on paper. Together they fill my head with silence.
I crave the silence of mindfulness, of flow, of the autumn wind in the trees.
This week I have also been writing out my thoughts, journaling like a mad woman. I crave words, and deep thoughts. Communication and letting go.

Hanna- I love the vulnerability here today…I appreciate your faith in that the sun is behind the clouds…somedays that’s all we can hang on to! You are brave and courageous to share your self-portraits…mine tend to be more abstract or symbol driven.
