I wish I was as free in life as I feel inside of you, dear Art Journal.
I wish I could live inside of your safety, and be nurtured by your colors, all the time.
If I could, I would live on Pink Paint Scribbles, and sugar it up with strokes of yellow.
I wish all days felt as inviting as your white pages, and at night, that they I had filled them to the brim as I do my journal pages…

this post rings very true for me as well hanna. i’ve never heard the quote before-it says a lot. i will add it to my quote journal. “If I could, I would live on Pink Paint Scribbles, and sugar it up with strokes of yellow.” would make a wonderful sentiment in a greeting card with this journal page as the cover!

I love use of bright happy colors! What medium did you use in this journal? Crayons, gelatos? Really like your combinations of colors.
Thank you! I glued down some collage elements, but other than that there is mostly acrylic paint on this page, applied in different ways. :)
