Little flower bear
I’ve crocheted quit a lot this summer, traveling around. I crocheted some softies, but non of the small creatures have a faces yet… This teddy bear though that I created the other day, I finished very quickly:
It’s a flower bear in blue for my mother’s growing collection of bears.
This bear is a little cross eyed – but very lovable… I hope.

I also wanted to show you this little mug that my mother got in present from two kids (brothers) at her work place (kindergarten kind of) in her favorite blue color:
Isn’t it a great gift from a kid? What fun to make, and what fun to use it.
I love the drawings, it’s a window and a house!
The bear is totally too cute with his little flowers and all.
And: I think perhaps I’m sneaking out into the night to steal your mother’s ring. It’s absolutely irresistible. Does she live far from Oslo, Norway?
Oh, your blue bear is very sweet – how tiny! I’ve always wanted to learn to crochet but have never got around to it. And yeah, those mugs are a lovely gift idea.
I painted plates for relatives here in Germany when my son was about 1 1/2 years old that were very similar. It wasn’t easy with him but we had a lot of fun. I don’t know how they were received, never heard anything. What a shame-that’s how in-laws can be.
