Come on with the rain, I’ve got a smile on my face
I walk down the lane, with a happy refrain
Just singin’, singin’ in the rain…

Under an umbrella

What a joy the seasons are! Even when I have to walk in the rain, I can get a creative kick out of it. At least, with a camera strap around my neck and no hurry at all…

Walking in the Rain

When I was visiting my old home town recently I decided to go visit the new museum, Bildmuseet. I had a horrible cold and the rain was poring down all day, but I couldn’t let that stop me. So I grabbed my umbrella and took a slow walk, stoping at every chance, to take photos of wet leafs.

Dripp dropp as we say
Hedge

It turned out to be one of my best photo walks in quite a while, despite of or maybe because of, the rain.

Here are some of the rain walk photos, showing you how I spent that rainy day in the rain:

Surrounded by rain. Walking in the rain. All day rain. It was when checking out Michelle Reuss’ post about her list journal pages (so pretty!) today that I saw another post called How I Spent a Rainy Day. I borrowed the title for this post, because I wanted to share these photos. They make me want to sing, in the rain. I just might, a little, because it’s raining today too.

How do you prefer to spend a rainy day?
