I love the word “doodle” because it is so open-ended and non-judgmental to me. It is an activity that has no agenda of being accurate, perfect, life-like or even close to rendering reality. Instead “to doodle” is (to me) to relax and let what ever comes up in your mind come out on the page. […]

Illustrating Christmas
I have been illustrating Christmas in two recent paintings. They are not elaborate in style or detail, or even very thought through, but they’re my try at doing some kind of “design”, illustrating the season of Christmas in my own way. I follow a few illustrators on social media that has been filling my streams […]
Art Journaling: I’m keeping the Butterflies

I drew these illustrations of animals 16 years ago when my brother was born, to hang on the wall […]
Eye Candy | Good memories
More old stuff from the drawer since I’m still traveling and not updating with new stuff. This is a watercolour painting I made in Thailand, 2003. I just found it in a pile of photos from the trip. Here is a photo from that trip, taken in a little town in Viet Nam: Hoi An. […]
Think happy thougts all day today
A pen and ink drawing, colored in Photoshop. The bear, who is wearing “my” Gudrun Sjödén-knee lenght sock (that I couldn’t get since they were sold out) is announcing: – Think happy thoughts all day today! in Swedish. Related PostsMy first Apron Big Magic | Inspiration en masse Fuel up people!
