Leftover Scraps Art Journaling
Today I want to share a page in my Art Journal, but not only that: the whole process of how it was created using some leftover scraps on my desk. Yes, it’s video time again. I created a collage page in this altered book that I have been working on in a strange, erratic way, for a while now:

It is a cut and paste of collage paper bits, glued into a spread in my altered book, and some journaling on top of the layers at the end, because why not?
On a page like this, sometimes I’ll go over it several times adding new layers of paint, crayon marks or doodles, but this time I added my journaling and felt quite done. It’s a simple page, but it gave me joy to put these bits together. And that’s what art journaling ultimately must be: something that gives you personally joy.

I also enjoy sharing a bit of my process and sometimes a finished spread. I hope that gives you joy and fills you up with new inspiration.

Thanks for being here. xo
I love how you use all your scraps to make new art pages. They turn out so gorgeous and cool with yummy colors and textures. The huge squid was a fun surprise!
Everything is so colorful at your place. It’s a happy place to come.
Love this page! I’m a huge fan of using scraps and leftovers to make a new page as well.
Thanks for leaving me a comment! Art journaling is the best.
