Travel kit: Viviva Watercolor Sheets
I have received a watercolor set as a gift, and I was so excited to try them out that I filled a whole spread in my current watercolor Art Journal! They’re called Viviva Watercolor Sheets in Spring Colors, and they’re the perfect companion for summer travels or just to bring with you out on the lawn (or to a café, park bench or nearby forest area) to do some on-the-go painting.
I will not write too much today, since I think I mention most of what’s important in the video where I try out these colorsheets! If you have any questions you’re welcome to leave them in the comments of course, and I’ll be happy to get back to you.

Now that I think about it, maybe I misunderstood that these colors were picked by my friend Kelly, who gifted me the set. She’s their ambassador for a year and she’s helping the brand to promote their watercolor sheets.
This blog post, and me, however, is not sponsored or endorsed by the brand. I just thought it was kind of cool, and I wanted to share the concept with you guys. Here’s the video:
You might notice that I have problems pronouncing the “Viviviavia” name, but that’s just because I did not read it correctly, LOL. But I have tried adding subtitles to some of my most recent videos, in case you need them, although they take a lot of time to read through and space out as well, so I might not add them to all of my videos. In any case…
I hope you liked the video, and feel inspired to go play in your own Art Journal, or just on loose watercolor paper. Is there anything that is more “summery” than watercolors? It just feels so… light. So free, in some way. I’m not sure why but that’s how I feel about watercolors, although I don’t mind using them year-round.
Plus, I love the shimmer paints and this yummy pink in my spring colorsheet set:
Let me know below if you have tried (or want to try) these Viviva watercolor sheets or any other colorsheets and what you think of them. All links below. Thanks Kelly for gifting me these!

Further Watercolor Inspiration:
- Viviva Coloursheets, Original Set on Amazon, these would be such a great travel gift together with their square Watercolor Paper Sketchbook for example.
- Viviva Watercolor Sheets, Spring Colors – Travel Watercolor Paint Set for Adults Artists – Lightfast, Vibrant, Handmade & Portable Watercolor Kit with Mixing Palette (affiliate link to Amazon, the same set that I try out in the video – but different packaging)
- Viviva Colors Homepage – check out all their offerings and buy from them directly
- Wings, worms and wonders blog – Check out Kelly’s nature blog and her many Viviva watercolor sheet videos – she has a couple of watercolor exercises there as well.
And of course, I have written about watercolors quite a bit over the years: swatching, playing, exploring and loving on watercolors. So much to learn, so much to be inspired by.
