iHanna's yummy and colorful watercolor Art Journal flip through video blogged

In a previous blog post I shared how I painted the last page of a handmade Art Journal of mine, and now I am sharing the flip-through video of that journal below. Enjoy!

Filled Art Journals are like treasures, aren’t they? Each page you open up to are kind of a surprise because you don’t really remember what you put down on each page. I love digging through past treasures…

I have two kinds of favorite book types. One is a bigger altered book, which is the type I’ve worked most with over the years when it comes to Art Journaling (more about altered books in an upcoming blog post). The other type is a hand-bound book that I make myself, with watercolor papers in the signatures.

I like having both of these types of art journals going at one time because they lend themselves to very different ways of expression. And different mediums and moods. In my watercolor book I love drawing, doodling and of course, using watercolors. I like to experiment with learning new things and to be inspired by other artists as well as taking online classes, for example via Skillshare .

I shared a video of the book itself when I had bound it, featuring all the blank pages and pretty cover – and now here’s the finished, filled Art Journal flip-though. Grab a beverage and let’s take a look at all those colorful pages!

Here’s the entire flip-through, filmed on my darling balcony. Come join me.

I love this journal, and looking through the pages I know I have to make a new journal similar to this one very soon for myself. I need to watercolor doodle. How about you?

Lots of watercolor doodles, drawings, yummy colors and ideas are found within this art journal for sure.

I mentioned being inspired by Tammy who also has a YouTube channel called DaisyYellow Art, and Courtney of Little Raven Ink on YouTube, because they have shared so much yummy stuff over the years. Go check them out!

Until next time, take care!
