It was June, and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside.

Yay! I got a new stack of white lined Index Cards, and I’m still creating little vignettes on a card every (other) day or so…
These are from the middle of June, so as I was using up the last of the pink index cards, I was very much looking forward to open up the new pack of cards. I hope you like them.
ICAD June 17: HAPPINESS *irony*.
ICAD June 18: Trying to understand fashion, as I was sewing a dress this day.
In my box of scraps I found this hand-label that says bra val (good choice), that I wanted to use. Since it was so thick and also had a pre-made hole, I decided to use my latest thrifted thread (baker’s red and white twine) to tie it to the index card. So you can move the hand around:
And another very colorful and happy index card, as I took out my watercolors that weekend.
ICAD June 23: Sommarlov/Summer leave from school request.
More soon.

thank you
Hanna, as always – I love “all” of your cards you’ve done! Thanks so much for sharing them with us and giving inspiration (which I really need sometimes!) (Hugs)

Love all your pretty, happy colored cards! (And fun to play “I spy” with certain ephemera and washi!) Makes me want to start a collage or two of my own! Especially enjoyed your moveable piece – might have to try that in a future travel journal. Thanks for sharing your beautiful artwork and continuing to encourage and inspire us!
