The DIY Postcard Swap Autumn 2017 is closed for this time, and now the fun wait for happy mail begins!

I want to find my way to regular creating and posting again, after quite a few posts about my mixed media painted postcards these past weeks. I hope you’ve enjoyed creating along with me, and will continue doing so as we move on to other things, like art journaling and mixed media embroidery to name a few things I have on my mind right now.

Signed, Sealed, Delivered - iHanna's Official postcard swap announcement

This Monday I wrote an “Official swap announcement” on my Facebook Page Studio iHanna, that sounded something like this:

All postcard swappers should’ve gotten an e-mail from me today (yay!), with their addresses + information.

If you can’t see it, check your spam folder first then your paypal e-mail, then, please contact me via e-mail if you can (you can also contact me via FB Message but that inbox is not as easy to keep track of as my own inbox) and I will try to re-send your copy as soon as I can.

If you don’t get a reply it’s not me, it’s probably a server not accepting my domain name or a glitch of the internet. I have sent e-mails to everyone, I promise.

Hanna Andersson's Flower Doodle from the book Craft-a-Doodle by Lark

I think we did a lot better than this spring, when I heard back from a lot of people who said they never got my e-mail. Yay for autumn, swappers!

Use the tracker when sending and getting handmade postcards back in iHanna's DIY Postcard Swap

I hope nobody in the swap missed that I created a little Swap Tracker, that you can download and print here. I think it is a handy tool for your memory, and a place to record who you get postcards from and who your hear from in the swap.

Handmade Jardin Lime Art Journal

Like a fool I went and stayed too long
Now I’m wondering if your love’s still strong
Oo baby, here I am,
Signed, sealed, delivered, I’m yours
Then that time I went and said goodbye
Now I’m back and not ashamed to cry
Oo baby, here I am,
Signed, sealed delivered, I’m yours

Here I am baby
Oh, you’ve got the future in your hand… Steve Wonder

Le Jardin Lime Journal Winner

And what about the Art Journal giveaway you ask? Well, I am happy to announce that the giveaway app randomly generated a name, and we have a winner! I will send Le Jardin Lime Art Journal to Tina G in the US!

Congratulations Tina, I hope you will enjoy filling these pages with YOU and your art!

The Jardin Lime Journal pages

I got 236 Total Entries in my little giveaway, and quite a bit of help marketing the swap and my youtube channel (thanks everyone who has subscribed to Studio iHanna). I will work hard to deliver a new video as soon as I can. And just know that I wish I could send a journal to everyone who entered the giveaway, but I can’t afford that. Instead I will try to list a few handmade journals in my Etsy Shop before Christmas, so that you too can get your hands on a one-of-a-kind art journal by iHanna if that’s something you’d be interested in. Yay!

I will announce all information about new journals for sale to my Newsletter Subscribers first, as always, so if you want to be alerted and know when those are available, be sure to subscribe.

Signed, sealed, delivered, I’m yours

I hope you have signed, sealed and delivered some happy mail this autumn, weather or not you’re in the postcard swap or not. Send a postcard, a note, an e-mail, a letter – make someone happ(ier) by delivering them a little handmade something.

You know you would love a surprise in the mail, so why not start by sending one? Maybe a spooky Halloween greeting even?

Until next, happy creating!
