Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.

Collage detail of roses in Shabby Chic Collage by iHanna

Writing three posts each week is not as easy as I thought it would be. Right now it’s because I have loads of other things to do, like write articles for work, and I really need to prioritize those. But just sharing and writing about the struggles with blogging, and making the commitment to write three times (at least!) each week, is envigorating me as a blogger. I have made lists, I have photographed stuff, I am trying things. Simply put, it is making this more fun. I have plans for loads of things I want to write about and share, but also, new things I want to make and create. I don’t mind having too many ideas, as long as I get some of them done. And by the way, thanks for being here still. You are awesome!

This week I made my first collage in a long time, and it was such a feeling of accomplishment and joy when I glued the last bit down…

Simply put, I felt like a winner. For about one minute. Then I was thinking: why haven’t I made more of these in the past year? There is something whack with my planning skills, but I am trying to change. How do you plan your days?

This one is very Shabby Chic style, don’t you think? I was in the mood for romance and subtle colors, maybe the next one will be in neon colors? Thanks for visiting, have a great day!

Oh, also, more inspiration:
Follow me in Pinterst where I have a beautiful board called Collage Art. Yummy stuff!

If you’re into paper ephemera and collage you should check out my Etsy Shop, I just posted some Christmas paper kits and some Swedish text book pages there, and more regular paper kits is coming as soon as I can get them up.
