Let’s take a peek at this page in my Art Journal. There is a lot going on here, but when I started I had no idea what would happen. What I would add to the white page or how it would end up looking in the end. I just doodled some!
First I sketched my owl candle holder, that I bought back in 2006. It’s still a favorite, a brown ceramic piece that I love more than any other thrifted finds ever. Then I fell into a state of flow, so I continued to doodle little figures…
Some words, a chirping bird, a face, a bit of magazine collage – and yes, a mushroom.
If you’re in town call me and we’ll doodle together!
I like drawing and doodling on top of an already painted page, but then afterwards I also added in details with a white pen and deco tape bits.
And the Colour Wheel of Fortune for the Creative Peeps of our time:
Simply beautiful!
Hanna, your pages always make me SMILE!!
Great doodles. I LOVE your animals-they are so much fun and show me you really love animals-they’re so happy. Glad you shared this page with us.
You’ve got great creative flow, Miss Hanna!
Looks like you had great fun!
HA! I love spinning my color wheel!
Hanna it’s cool to watch the evolution of your work, all the way from your first podcast with Diane, and your first book and the journals you have made, your collages — and this fun journal spread is no exception.
So colorful and so fun! You asked what is inside your head on your page and your head must be packed full of things because so are your journal pages. You must be a fun and very active person!
Very cool, Hanna. I’d like to bottle your energy so I can add to some of mine after a long work day.
I just love that peek at your doodles:they are so fun and fresh.
besides we like the same animals! even the mushroom!!
I picked up quite a few the first year I arrived in this region of Spain, very close to the French border.
I love your wild and energetic style. Very vivid and full of life.
Thank you for your visit and leaving a comment! Have a great day!
