Mixed media painting

This is a mixed media painting on a canvas that I made last week.
I put all my paints on the living room floor and made it in steps. Started with my vellum pen, continued with Chinese papers and paint. Then I also tried a picture transfer with gel medium – and it worked. The girl is from a thrifted and scanned postcard that I really like.
It is six days left of summer holiday, and I don’t even feel stressed. Just calm, waiting for the right things to happen. I feel that they will, soon.

And I have only a few hours left of my vacation and it feels, hmm, don’t know. It feels ok, I think! I’m calm, have prepared everything so I think it will be easy to get up in the morning and go to work.
