My friend Maria is a much quicker blogger than me. Last weekend we went to an outdoor flea market at Umeåker. She wrote about her finds last week, and now it’s my turn too. The flea market came with crowds (lots of people everywhere!) and great summery sunshine.

A really a great day for thrifting outdoors. Here are some pictures of my favorite finds from the day:
Thrifted finds photographed by iHanna
A very small porcelain doll in a brown dress (5 SEK), a sewing box with curved legs whose cover I will dress in fabric later (50 SEK), a Hasbro My little pony (for my friend Anna who collects these ponies) which came with two fake pony babies (20 SEK for the three of them in a plastic bag) and a mini cupboard that might become an altered shrine thing (10 SEK).

Plus: Another book about cats called Katten ser dig by Roger Caras (10 SEK). In English it is called A cat is watching.

Ribbons
And what about this find – is this not a great sight? A bag filled with beautiful ribbons (40 SEK).

Sweater with stripes
And a happy t-shirt with pink and red stripes (10 SEK). Mmm, looks new and fits perfect on me!

I love thrifting

I just love thrifting! It is so fun to look at all the junk and all the other things that you would like to buy… I bend over every box of toys and books, browse through the tables of porcelain and glass, glance at the new clothes and dive in when I see sewing stuff or small trinkets to play arty games with.

This weekend we went to storloppis (BIG flea market) indoor at Nolia. It was 2,5 hour of looking and talking about beautiful and ugly stuff. But what I got this Saturday must be another post.
