Ouch, it’s a Totoro invasion

Totoro is one of my favorite animated characters ever. He is a forest spirit with a great yawn – and he is the lead character in the anime movie Tonari no Totoro directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

If you haven’t seen the movie, you should. It’s totally cute as I know I’ve told you before. Before Christmas I made 2 magnets, 4 hanging ones and two standing Totoro’s in clay. It was way fun, I know I want to make more stuff in clay.

These characters became Christmas gifts for other Totoro lovers in my family. Some are left though, and will be for sale some day when I feel up to making the shop.

I specially like the ones I made for hanging. I will use them in a necklace or a as mobile decorations perhaps…

Hope you had a great holiday!
