Salvaged frames
I love frames of all kinds – and framed pictures are so much nicer than unframed dito. Have you ever framed something you made and been inpressed how arty it became? The frame makes it art some how (at least sometimes).
I got two vintage frames, really worn and old looking, from the gallery. And even though I don’t know what to fram in them yet (the art piece to fit them are not created yet I guess) I had to salvage them. I just couldn’t let them go out the trash.
I turned the kitchen to a furniture repair studio, and painted the frames white.
I think they turned out great. I’m hoping they will live with us for long, getting a new life with me and a soon-to-be-made piece of art (collage!).

Hej.
