The rest of week 8 collages are scanned, but first I just wanted to say that it was not my intention to stay away after the announcing the DIY Postcard Swap details this week. But I have one good reason that is not feeling very good… I’m devastated that my 17″ screen laptop gave up on me two weeks ago (wrote about int my recent Newsletter) and since then I’m behind on scanning for the 365 in 2013 project and a lot of other things too (like checking my email). I don’t want to go on about that, instead I really feel like posting some creative stuff from my desk!
Today I managed to upload the rest of the six collages from week eight, and I hope you like them. Here they are:

And after two months of making collages I can truly say this is an awesome project! I love the weekly creative bursts I get from this project, making sure I have seven collages to post each week. It’s empowering, creative and such a great habit!

I like “Growing outwards” the most. But I do love all of the others as well, especially the first one, cause it has a collage element I think I sent you some time ago. I really do feel honored that you’ve used it :D
I am waaay behind on the 365in2013 challenge, but am now working on my collage nr 20 and hope to be posting my recent collages for this challenge on my blog later today.
Gotta get back to my glue-stick ;)

I really like the one with the bear constellation the best! It looks mysterious and thought provoking.
In a blue cupboard is my favorite. Partly just because I love the combination of brown and blue, but I also really like the layers of black doodles, and the fade to white at the top, and the repeating element of the circles. Another lovely bunch, all the way around.
I like High in Life and A Blue Bed Quilt best of this set. In High in Life I like the softness of the colors and the varied textures and the peek of the butterfly. In A Blue Bed Quilt I like the look and feel of the varied blues and the bold little mandalas as well as the analytical numbers. A good week and a good amount of progress. My fav from this batch is In the Blue Cupboard. It reminds me of the winter I have been locked in until recently. The cupboard doors are now opening and spring is springing !

So sorry to hear about your laptop. I would be lost without “my baby”. Another great week of collages. In the Blue Cupboard is my favourite though. I love the colours, the composition…the whole darn thing!!

Growing Outwards is my favorite. I love, love, love the pinks with the black circles. Lovely work.
Would just like to know what size paper you are using. I did the ICAD this summer, but these are obviously larger, with a little more room to play. I like!!
