This is another one that I have done, on blue fabric, traded to Margot.
Here he is again, vignetted in Photoshop, just for fun:
Whew! I’m relieved your new site posts are coming into my reader! I love this ATC — you are amazing to do such a stitching project in such a small format — it’s a HOOT!!
You just make the cutest little owls! I love them.
He’s sooooooo darling!!!! Hugs, Terri
Oh Hanna, this is so cute! I love owls and don’t do enough of them. Should add to my long list of to-dos.
Ahem, like I said, every time I leave here I just want to drop everything and do your latest project lol!
um, these are TOO STINKING CUTE!!!
I love your little owls!
i adore your work. if i just have a little more time and working habits … ah. actually i’m interested in backside of atc, embroidered or “plain” paper. what do you put there?
Uršula, thanks commenting!
A quick tutorial on how I do add the backing (it’s paper) to my ATC’s is comming, probably next week!
This is beautifully drawn and stitched.
This is such a good idea, to do embroiderie on a small scale! Size does matter, in this case: small! :-)
Love your site – would love to have you join in at artseebloggers.com – it’s a blog directory of the creatively inclined!
Thanks for the invitation Geri! I’ve added my site into mixed media and fiber art category now. :-)
Have you done a tutorial yet of the owls?
Hi Kim, there is no tutorial on how to embroider an owl, but there is however lots of other tutorials – and one on how to finish a fabric ATC. I hope it helps.
