Lisa in Amsterdam

Grey hairs - detail

Are you in or close to Amsterdam? My blog friend Lisa Sonora Beam will be there soon having an art retreat that sounds fab! What Lisa creates and does is just up my alley. I wish I could go, but right now I can’t! It’s in Amsterdam, Netherlands Saturday & Sunday March 26-27, 2011; Filling the well-retreat.

The Creative Entrepreneur A DIY Visual Guidebook for Making Business Ideas RealI bought her book, The Creative Entrepreneur A DIY Visual Guidebook for Making Business Ideas Real, when it was newly out and I love it! It is all about figuring out what your goal and purpose of your business is, where you want to go and how to get there. I don’t have a business or a business plan or any idea where I’m going, but I know it would be easier to figure out if I actually did the exercises in Lisa’s book!

Also, I have written about how much I enjoy reading Lisa’s blog before. She is such a great writer, her series on Goal setting for creatives was really inspiring and an interesting read. My own DIY planner is a bit similar to Lisa’s Strategic Planner for the year, a very pretty and portable planner. I’ve got a tab for visions and that’s where I want to add in my lists and goals when I get to it.

Just thought I’d give a shout out about her class in case you hadn’t heard about it and want to go. Amsterdam is a city I want to visit sometime in my life, but of course, there are sooo many places one would love to see one day, right? TJ was writing about another art retreat in Europe (England I think) earlier. I need more money that’s for sure. I hope we can get Lisa to come to Stockholm too sometime, that would be awesome!

Flattr this!

A group of us did a business marathon thing over the holidays using her book to get our business plan lined up! It was great and we blogged about it here –, but Lisa’s book was great!!! I would totally recommend it!!

NO WAY! I totally love this book although I have not worked entirely through it yet. I had no idea she was coming to Europe. Now I’m wondering why I haven’t investigated if she has a blog. Man Hanna we need to find a way to be able to go to these things…

Should we have a pretzel sale?
Thanks for this, I’m going to go check out these links…!!
    Hugs from germany,

Hi Hanna, I’m so glad I’ve come across your blog. I’ve browsed through some of your previous posts and am already inspired to try new projects. Your “about me” page is wonderful; so honest and authentic. I’ll be stopping by for future visits :)
