Dear, dear diary, I want to tell my secrets

Dear, dear diary, I want to tell my secrets
Cuz you’re the only one that I know who’ll keep them
Dear, dear diary, I want to tell my secrets
I know you’ll keep them, and this is what I’ve done […]

I’ve been down every road you could go
I made some bad choices as you know
Seems I’ve got this whole world cradled in my hands
But its just like me not to understand…
Pink

Scanned collage pages from my own Dear Diary where I write Morning Pages and Stupid Repeating Thoughts all the time. And glue stuff in. :-)

A few quotes collected, mostly from The Woman’s Book of Creativity by Diane Ealy that I’ve been reading (in Swedish). Love this book so much!

February is over, here is my inspiration mosaic for February. Pretty pretty images.

    yours look like fun!

  2. iHanna says:

Lynn, I’ve never taken a class like that – I envy you for having that possibility! You’re a lucky girl. I hope you’ll learn lots of fun new things. Who is the teacher?

Pink and Yellow makes me think of all the Easter clothes
my mom would sew for me each year. I like how you move your writing around on the journal pages, keeps the visual interest going and the mosaic, so pink, love that.

  4. iHanna says:

Corrine, bet you were pretty in pink and yellow! Hehe. I love making this collage pages of “my life” and of the most recent clippings from magazines. :-)

This looks like such a fun journal/diary. I love the bright colors and all the clippings from magazines. Terrific idea!

Hi Hanna! These are so nice. I’ve never done collages before. I have a question about making things like this — what kind of glue do you need? I feel like it’s a silly question, but I don’t even know what to look for at the stores. (Usually I just jump right in and try things, but I’m hesitating because I don’t know anything about glue.)

  8. iHanna says:

    Thanks for your comment!

Bridget, not a silly question. I use a glue stick for this kind of collage and most other art work too. It’s just handy to have, and I use up glue sticks like others drink coffee! :-) Go out and buy one, and start to cut and paste! Happy gluing! :-)

    Hanna,
I like your creative diary collages – although I can not read them, but I can see. And I see your free and happy view of the world.
Keep on being happy and colourful.

Hi Hanna! Here is something to add to your diary, if you wish. I just mentioned you in my Doughnut Dreams blog post, as one of my sources for inspiration to pick up my paint brush again.

It’s amazing to me, the connections, ideas and love that can be spread all over the world, just by typing on the computer.
Thank you for the time you take to share and your continued inspiration! Lisa

Thank you for sharing this very important part of your life, Hanna. It’s funny, I was just recently thinking about starting a creative journal/diary again. I really miss the interior and creative process of it. I used to write in a journal my entire high school & college years and, lately, I wondered why I stopped and that I should start doing this again.
The article about “nice bloggers” made me smile as well. ;) We’re lucky that “un-nice” bloggers are a rarity in our community.
