Empty hands

Inspired by Sister Diane’s resource roundup, Leah’s linkage posts and most recently Stina’s Veckans tips I’ve decided to yes, keep sharing my favorite web finds with you but do it in a more calm and collected way, once a week. This is inspiration linkage roundup number one. And I’ll just call it lookabout since that is what I do. I look around and about for interesting stuff with the intention to learn new things, grow as a human being and share it all with you! :-)

Are You An Innerpreneur?

Found the beautiful and inspiring blog Innerpreneur this week and it’s all about me! I didn’t know the word before, but now I know I am one. Are You An Innerpreneur? It’s defined like this;

…we start businesses to aid in our personal growth rather than that of a company’s. We start our businesses so we can find personal fulfillment and satisfaction through our work.

We are driven by our need to realize our full potential, to make a difference and to constantly learn and evolve.

This is how I live and work, though I haven’t started a business and I never make any money… As a innerpreneur you also believe that you should do what you are and what you love and you do see the world in a different way than most. That is so me!

You let your values and passion for exploration guide your life. You have an innate need to be creative and honest, to follow your own unique path. And it goes on. Visit Rise of the Innerpreneur and read on, there is lots to explore there.

The world of Photography

I’ve also been diving into photography this week, or at least found several good places to start my explorations. I’ve added some new links to my link list under the category Photography tips. Like Your Photo Tips and Squeeze the lime where you can find both beautiful wedding photography and a podcast about professional photography!

A previous favorite photographer is Leaca who is in Alaska. On her blog Simply blogged she posts stunning photos and interesting interviews about photography (!) and in her shop she sells beautiful square photos that I adore.

Empty hands

I’ve also been exploring in Sweden, my own country. People are coming around to creative blogging in Sweden and I’ve been to busy talking to my US friends I haven’t even been noticing! I need to be more outgoing as to contact the people who are close to me. Who wants to meat up? :-) For beautiful photo check out Emellie Christian, Johan, David, Fotokritik, Sandra and of course Stina who takes one photo each day for a year!

Collage and art inspiration

Judy Wise’s post The Last of the Postcards is full of collage inspiration. It makes me want to do a pile of postcards just to do something quick, fun that uses up some scrap papers!

I’ve also listened to SuzieBlu Radio while creating art this week! Did you know she has a radio show? It’s totally wacko nonsense most of the time, but full of girl power and inspiration too. I love her a lot!

That’s it! I hope you enjoy this first look-about with me. I’ll post another next weekend and then it’s going to be blogs with lots of crafty inspiration I think… The photos are of my hand. I’m obsessed with taking photos of my hand right now.
