I got reminded about my vintage collection of craft magazines when I red Laurels post about how fun they are. I bought a couple of them in the beginning of last year at a flea market, just for fun. I got the inspiration after hearing about a woman who made a book abot craft projects from the 1970’s. I had never looked in an older magazine before, but when I did I was fascinated and amazed. How fun some of them are, and how very much inspiration I can find in them. I have a bunch now, and I love looking at the orange and brown pictures in them. 1980 ones are still to horrible to me, with the pastels and strange clothes…
So, here are some of the photos I took of spreads I liked in some of the magazines back then, I don’t think I’ve written about this before!
Lots of fun to view, my comments in Swedish this time. For more inspiration from this time visit Cathy of California! She scans old books and magazines for us to view, and her visit to the world famous crochet museum in joshua tree is something I’m very envious off.
